NHS Grampian Public Involvement Network
What is the Public Involvement Network?
The Public Involvement Network offers all members a range of ways to engage with NHS Grampian. We currently have over 140 members helping us ensure the public are involved in the NHS across Grampian.
How does it work?
By becoming a member of the Public Involvement Network, you will be added to our distribution list and will receive regular NHS Grampian updates, an invitation to our annual event, information about opportunities to be involved, and ways to give your views about different and interesting topics such as nutrition and catering, maternity liasion committee, technology enabled care workstream and Inverurie Health Centre Communication group.
You can choose to be involved in areas of interest to you. This might include taking part in a small focus group, attending a local event to have your say about changes in your area, or completeting different surveys to have your say on services.
Each year we hold an annual event and the previous event took place in September 2015.
How can I join?
The Public Involvement Network is open to anyone in Grampian who has an interest in health related services. To join our Network or to find out more, please email email@example.com
or phone 01224 553651.
If you live in Moray you can also join your local Forum
The Moray Patient Participation Forum (PPF) is a network of individuals from a variety of backgrounds who all have an interest in health and social care services and who want to be involved in how they are designed and delivered.
The forum works alongside the Community Health and Social Care Partnership which is the organisation that provides health and social care services for adults in the Moray community.
Monthly forum meetings provide opportunities to scrutinise and monitor service delivery and inform decision making from the point of view of patients and service users, as well as supporting wider engagement and involvement in the planning and improvement of services.
For more information, please contact Fiona McPherson, Public Involvement Officer on 01343 567187 or firstname.lastname@example.org
The NHS Grampian Public Involvement Network was established following changes to our Grampian-wide Public Forum. Previous Public Forum newsletters and reports are still available
