NHS Grampian Travel Clinic - Aberdeen and Elgin

Travel Clinic

Holiday Photo

Currently there is a global shortage of Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B vaccines which is having a severe impact on the supply of Hepatitis A and B containing vaccines in the UK. Unfortunately we will be unable to offer these vaccines in our travel clinic for the foreseeable future.

If your travel plans put you at an increased risk for Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B, the Travel Clinic Nurse will discuss measures you can take to protect yourself during your nurse consultation.  In addition we may advise that you try to obtain the vaccines elsewhere.

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact the clinic.

GO Health Services offers a travel clinic service at a competitive cost. It is available to members of the public aged over 12 years.

We are a registered centre for Yellow Fever vaccine and certification. Yellow Fever is spread by a day biting mosquito which is found in many different African and South American countries.

Our trained and experienced nursing and medical staff offer specialist advice on health precautions for all types of travel; business or leisure, 5-star or backpacking, in any part of the world.

By completing a thorough travel risk assessment our travel recommendations will be specific to you and your proposed trip.

In order for the travel nurse to provide the full range of travel immunisations and anti malarial prophylaxis appropriate to your needs, please complete the Travel Health Questionnaire below at least 4 weeks prior to departure date and return to grampianohs@nhs.net.
