"Health and Social Care Workforce: Help Us to Tackle Racism" Survey

The Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights (CRER) has been commissioned by Scottish Government to design and develop a suite of anti-racism capacity building resources for anyone working within the NHS – including social care – in Scotland.

You can help make sure the resources meet your needs by completing the ‘Health and Social Care Workforce: Help Us to Tackle Racism’. CRER has designed the survey to capture staff at all level’s experience and/or understanding of racism and its impact. Your participation and responses will help make sure that the resources that are designed to meet the specific needs of staff working in the NHS. This includes staff from any ethnic background (minority or majority ethnic), pay band, or management level. Everyone’s views count!

The survey is open for responses from 15 January to 9 February and can be completed online.

Participation is completely voluntary and responses are anonymous. It takes 15 minutes (maximum) to complete and can be taken as protected development time during work hours.

Responses to the survey will be held and analysed by CRER and will only be used in the development of the resources. The survey data will be destroyed once the resources have been finalised. Staff who have left the health and social care sector in the last five years are also welcome to take part – simply complete the survey referring to your previous role(s).

If you have any questions more information about the project is available on the CRER website.

If you would like a paper copy of the survey please email mimie@crer.org.uk.
