Celebrating Nigerian Independence Day Lunch Event
The NHS Grampian Staff Equalities Network is excited to be working with the NHS Grampian Catering Manager to celebrate our diverse workforce through a universal appreciation of delicious food.
Our first event launched Black History Month 2024, with a celebration to mark Nigerian Independence Day.
To make the event as authentic as possible, we invited colleagues to co-create a menu, and help to make sure our Catering Manager had the right ingredient and the correct recipes to produce Nigerian cuisine that our workforce would want to buy and eat.
We want to thank everyone who made the event such a success, particularly our wonderful catering colleagues who prepared the food, and of course to everyone that came along to enjoy it and helped to make such a celebratory atmosphere.
