The Speech and Language Therapy Service will provide prehabilitation and post-surgical services to support recovery in Head and Neck Cancer patients, in some Neurosurgical and Neuro-Oncology patients, and in some other planned and unplanned procedures which may impact communication and/or swallowing functions.  

These services provide patients with information, treatment, and advice, and have many potential health benefits which can contribute towards improved physical and psychological outcomes. 

Information and advice are personalised to patients needs and as such will be provided as required, such as at a hospital bedside assessment or later outpatient appointment.
