Day Unit

Referral to the unit is from health professionals. An assessment of needs takes place prior to commencement within the unit and gives patients and their families the opportunity to meet with some members of the team, see the building and ask any questions. A plan for care is developed through the discussions at assessment.

The multidisciplinary team offer treatments and therapies to help with pain and symptom management, increase mobility and well being, nutritional support, as well as ongoing nursing assessment.
