Radiology Services in Scotland – Patient and Carer Survey

Published: 10/12/2020 14:23

The Scottish Radiology Transformation Programme (SRTP) would appreciate your support to raise awareness with your networks and groups of a survey to gather patient and carer views about radiology services in Scotland.

Radiology uses medical imaging (for example, X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound) to look inside the body to diagnose, treat and monitor injuries and diseases. The survey is part of a national project looking at the future of radiology services and responses will help find out what is working well and where we can make improvements. The survey focuses on experiences of diagnostic and interventional radiology services in the last 12 months including both outpatient and inpatient and planned and urgent care. The survey does not include experiences of radiotherapy or routine breast screening services.

The survey is now open and will close on 5th January 2021 and can be found here: https://www.nsssurvey.scot.nhs.uk/974172. The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.

If you have any questions regarding this survey or require it in a different format, please contact the Scottish Radiology Transformation Programme team at nss.s.r.t.p@nhs.scot. SRTP will also be undertaking online patient and carer interviews and discussion groups in January-February 2021 to get more in-depth views so please get in touch if you think that may be of interest.
