Invitation to apply for health and wellbeing funding
Published: 31/10/2023 15:35Charities across Grampian are being invited to apply for funding from NHS Grampian Charity, as it opens the latest round of its Community Grants Programme today [31st October].
The programme provides grants of up to £10,000 to local charities and community organisations to help them develop projects which improve access to health provision, enhance healthcare experiences, and empower individuals to better manage their own health.
Lisa Duthie, charity lead at NHS Grampian Charity, says: “We are thrilled to open our Community Grants Programme for its fourth round of funding.
“The health and wellbeing of the people of Grampian is at the heart of everything we do, and we look forward to working alongside some of the incredible local charities and community organisations across the region to fund projects which support this.”
Since it was first launched, the Community Grants Programme has funded a diverse range of projects and activities including initiatives to support physical and mental health, active days out, healthy eating breakfast clubs for primary school children, the development of greenspaces, and much more. Over £700,000 has been awarded to almost 100 local projects since 2020.
