Distraction

Try and generate a "distraction list" to use at times of high anxiety in relation to eating, or to delay vomiting.

Distraction List: e.g.

  • Keep a diary
  • Phone a friend
  • Write a letter
  • Read
  • Knit
  • Go for a walk
  • Have a shower/bath
