Aberdeenshire Podiatry services are based from the Inverurie Staff Home, Inverurie Hospital. We are also located in satellite clinics throughout all three localities within Aberdeenshire- North, Central and South.
Aberdeenshire Podiatry department provide the following services…
High Risk Service - This specialist service supports the management of the patients who are ‘at risk’ or have already developed serious foot complications as a result of an underlying systematic disease.
Minor Surgery Service - The specialist service provides assessment of new and high risk patients requiring treatment for nail pathologies, verrucae and fibrous lesions.
Musculoskeletal Service Adult/Child - This specialist service supports the assessment, diagnoses and treatment of patients presenting with a wide range of MSK conditions which include, plantar heel pain, limb length differences, lower back pain, shin splints, hypermobility and excessive pronation/supination.
Core Podiatry Services - This specialist services supports the assessment, diagnoses and treatment of pathological skin and nail conditions. Please note Podiatry services do not provide basic foot care including simple nail cutting.
Education- Our podiatry team offer foot health education for patients as well as training for carers/family and other health care professionals and partnership colleagues.
You can access Podiatry services via your medical practice team or by self-referring. To self-refer please complete a paper self-referral form (available in all GP practices and health centres) and send to Podiatry Dept Staff Home, Inverurie Hospital, Upperboat Road, Inverurie AB51 3UL or e-mail a copy to gram.abdnshirepodforms@nhs.scot

Clinical High Risk Advice Line
- Our High Risk clinical advice line is 01467 672845 and is open Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4pm and Friday 8.30am - 3pm.
- This is an answer machine which is checked daily by the High Risk Team.
- If you have any foot concerns such as an open wound, foot infection or foot injury please leave a detailed message and a podiatrist will return your call to offer advice or a clinical appointment if required.
