Angela Douglas | Service Project Manager

Joined the project team in April 2023.  Key role for the mortuary project is the interface between members of the integrated Project Team, external organisations and the wider Principal Supply Chain Partners.  Leading the service elements of the project on a day-to-day basis with focus on the equipping of the new facility.

Gordon Duguid | NEC Supervisor - Building

Responsible for witnessing tests and inspections by the Contractor and monitoring the quality of work on the construction site, ensuring compliance with NHSG guidance and documentation. Participates in project meetings in relation to project design from initial brief.  Partakes in NHSG processes and procedures including HAI SCRIBE, Soft Landings, KSAR and AEDET throughout the project's lifecycle.

Ishbel Gall | Mortuary Manager

My role is to ensure the smooth running of the mortuary service and ensure we meet the needs of those in our care and those who have been bereaved. I lead a small professional team who have a wide range of skills to ensure we meet the highest standards of professionalism and empathy. We provide support and advice to the bereaved to help them through a challenging and difficult time.

Andrea Gray | Consultation and Engagement Advisor

Responsible for implementing a communication and engagement strategy for the project, including chairing the project Communication and Engagement Delivery Group, and working closely with communications colleagues to ensure continuing engagement and sharing of information with key stakeholders.

Ryan Hill | Communications Officer

Responsible for working with engagement colleagues to develop and manage a communication and engagement strategy for the project. Identify target audiences and create project-related content such as press releases, newsletters, and social media posts to keep stakeholders informed.  Coordinate and manage all internal and external communications, ensuring all parties are updated on project progress, changes and any arising issues.

Justin Leslie | Mechanical Supervisor MEP

Supervision of all aspects of the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) Installations. Ensuring all works are designed and built in compliance with relevant statutory, technical and NHS specific standards and guidance. Managing NHS procedures i.e., HAI-Scribe, NDAP, KSAR.

Chelsei Mennie | Project Administrator

I help with any administrative duties throughout the duration of the project. My role involves coordinating various activities such as scheduling meetings, organising project documentation, and tracking progress against timelines.

Manju Patel | Project Director – Acute Capital Projects

Responsible for the overall management and successful delivery of projects, ensuring that they align with the organisation's strategic objectives. Key role is to effectively coordinate multiple project teams, providing clear direction and motivating individuals towards achieving their goals. Additional, responsibility include establishing robust governance structures to manage risks and drive accountability across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Martin Stewart | Building Technical Manager

We carry out site inspections throughout the construction process, to ensure relevant statutory, technical and NHS specific standards and guidance are met. We also inspect quality of workmanship and operative competence; any issues are raised to the main Contractor for rectification.
