Dizziness
Dizziness affects everyone differently and is a term used to describe a number of different feelings eg. feeling lightheaded or off balance or feeling that their surroundings are spinning. Dizziness in Long COVID can sometimes be a sign of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTs).
PoTs affects the nervous system of the body causing an abnormal increase in your heart rate when sitting up or standing up. You may notice symptoms such as, palpitations, dizziness/lightheadedness, sweating. Symptoms may also include gut, bladder and visual problems. Symptoms are normally relieved by lying down.
