Library Services

NHS Grampian healthpoint is your one stop health information point, offering free confidential information, advice and access to reputable services, in a friendly welcoming environment.

 

The Listening Service is open to anyone over the age of 18 in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire and provides 50 minute appointments with fully trained listeners. The libraries in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray offer a wide range of resources and access to online services, including audio books and eBooks.

 A national platform that connects you to services, groups, and activities for your health and well-being.  Long COVID can affect our ability to maintain employment. Please click on this link if you are an employee with Long COVID, or if you are an employer supporting someone to remain in work. 

A symptom diary can help you document what you are experiencing and when and this can be shared with relevant professionals.

 

Scottish Ballet Scottish Opera Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland
Scottish ballet has a free support programme to support those with Long COVID. Breathing techniques practised by professional opera singers can help those living with Long COVID and other respiratory conditions. Please see the Scottish Opera website for details of what they can offer. Chest Heart and Stroka has Long Covid specific advice on their website. They also have a podcast series on Long Covid. Their advice line is open to those with Long Covid to contact for further advice. Their advice line 0808 801 0899  is open 9.30am - 4 pm Monday to Friday they provide information on a range of topics including symptom management, finances and mental well-being etc.
