Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTs)

PoTs stands for Postrual Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. It affects the nervous system of the body causing an abnormal increase in your heart rate when sitting up or standing up. You may notice symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness/lightheadedness, sweating. Symtoms may also include gut, bladder and visual problems. Symptoms are normally relieved by lying down.
