What is Primary Care?
Primary care is your first point of contact with the NHS. This involves contact with community based services such as General Practitioners (GPs), Community Nurses, Allied Health Professionals such as Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, Midwives and Pharmacists.
If you are unwell or worried about your health or the health of anyone in your family you should consult your local pharmacy or make an appointment with your registered GP practice. If you are not registered with a GP practice, please contact practitioners services on (01224) 358400.
