This event was hosted by the North East Alliance. The North East Alliance is a collaboration of leaders across the North East of Scotland aiming to deliver change and improve lives.

Main Aim

Where we live and where we spend our time has an important influence on our health and wellbeing.

The Place, Health and Wellbeing Group for the North East Alliance hosted a symposium to:

• Demonstrate progress being made by the North East Alliance
• Build a strategic understanding of our approach to ‘health and place’
• Encourage exemplar projects
• Facilitate sharing of ideas
• Inform the local forward planning on ‘health and place’ at the level of the three Community Planning Partnerships
• Present the north east of Scotland to national stakeholders as a strategic national forum for innovation and development
