Clean Air Day – 17th June 2021

Every year, air pollution causes up to 36,000 deaths in the UK.  The World Health Organisation and the UK Government recognise that air pollution is the largest environmental health risk we face today. Poor air quality causes heart and lung diseases, is linked to low birth weight and children’s lung development and may even contribute to mental health issues.

June is Men's Health Month

Men and women both have the same basic needs, like food, water, and rest. However, they don’t always experience health in the same way. Certain biological differences, as well as social factors, lead to men having unique health-related experiences. In honour of Men’s Health Month, we’re exploring what those differences are, what they mean for men’s health, and steps men can take to increase their overall health.
