Spiritual Care

Spiritual Care is part of the holistic care which should be offered to patients, their relatives and carers and staff. This care is offered and available to those with or without specified religious beliefs. The Spiritual Care/Chaplaincy department will provide spiritual support to staff that they might better manage their own wellbeing and resilience. Chaplains are available across all the main hospital sites and can be contacted via the main office at ARI.

The support is confidential and independent of line management structures. Chaplains are skilled listeners who can assist you in reflecting on the circumstances you have found yourself in, change how you see things and help you with coping strategies.

Religion will not be spoken about, unless raised by you.
